The groove sampler for heavy soils is made of a special steel alloy, solid rod, diameter 22 mm, optionally with tip end reduced to 20 mm for tensiometer application, groove diameter 12 mm, groove height 1000 mm.

The groove sampler for light soils differs from that for heavy soils only by the fact that it has a tube of 30 mm diameter and a groove with 22 cm diameter.

Available accessories: 

• Scewable head (40 mm diameter)
• Steel gag (16 mm diameter, chromated, with PVC handle)
• Chromated extensions (1000 mm)

The shaft can be extended by screwed lengths to max. 4 m.
