Applications:
The UGT data logger is suitable for use in soil hy-drological measuring units, meteorological stations and many other situations that require reliable automatic data recording. We program it also for process control with or without logger function - the modular concept provides for simplicity, efficiency and low cost.
Concept for use:
Configuration and data acceptance by serial in-terface (RS 232) via PC, telephone and radio modem. The tasks are optimally distributed between data logger and PC, which means that the recorded data are quickly made into tables which are easily imported into common processing sys-tems. Online using is also possible, PC collects data.
Characteristics:
The UGT data logger is a compact device of modular design with CMOS microcontroller, sup-ported RAM (128 Kbytes), supported real-time clock, 15-bit A/D converter with differential in-puts (resolution: 15µV) for up to 64 input channels, digital interface for 16 counting channels, 64 event channels and standby control, serial interface (RS 232) as well as and possibilities for flexible connection to interfaces for process control. Thanks to its low power consumption, the system can be run from battery, mains or solar energy.
