Lysimeter excavation technology for small monoliths
189010 | Lysimeter excavation technologies for small monoliths |
- This excavation technique is developed for small soil monoliths with diameter of 100 – 300 mm and lengths of 100 – 800 mm
- The lysimeter vessel will be, supported by a hydraulic cylinder, driven by a hydraulic hand-pump, pressed into the soil. By a triangle traverse the lysimeter vessel will be fixed in its alignment during the intrusion till the excavator depth has been reached. To raise a reagent the traverse will be kept by ground anchor. During the infeed the soil around the lysimeter vessel will be careful digged of to minimise outer friction. The hereby generated pit is used for the basal cut of the monolith out of the grown soil of the site. The cut will be realised by a trimmer guided on the pressure-plate of the hydraulic cylinder. Herewith a according to the monolith axis upright cut surface will be generated and the soil area will be fixed axial during the uplifting of the monolith.
- By using of thinwalled lysimeter vessels (PVC, PP, PE ect.) the upper pressure plate contains a revolving guideway and the lower end a cutting ring made of steel.
We accomplish the excavation of small soil monoliths as SERVICE
