Customer Consultant Soil Science / Indoor Sales (m/f/d)

Umwelt-Geräte-Technik GmbH is a small medium-sized company that has been active in the field of environmental technology and environmental monitoring for more than 30 years. We are a team of scientists, engineers and technicians. We develop devices and procedures with high innovative content, which are combined as laboratory and field measuring devices suitably to complex environmental measuring stations. We (and our distributors) sell these to research institutions and companies all over the world.

For our team we are looking for immediate reinforcement at our location in Hallbergmoos.

Your tasks: What is in store for you?

• You will advise and support our national and international customers on our soil science and soil hydrology products and solutions.
• You will process tender documents and prepare offers together with the specialist departments.
• You proactively follow up on offers, orders and complaints and find a solution.
• You organize and participate in trade fair/conference appearances with the team.
• You observe the market and research new products.

Your profile: What should you be able to do?

• You have a university degree in natural sciences or engineering or have a doctorate.
• You have at least 3 years of work experience in the environmental sector.
• You can organize yourself well, communicate well and have a strong customer focus.
• Microsoft Office, Teams and ERP/CRM systems are not foreign words to you.
• You speak German and English very well, other languages are welcome.
• You have a driver's license, class B and are willing to drive on business trips.

• Sie beraten und betreuen unsere nationalen und internationalen Kunden (v.a. wissenschaftliche Einrichtungen) zu ihren umweltwissenschaftlichen Projekten und unseren Produkten und Lösungen.
• Sie bearbeiten Ausschreibungsunterlagen von Forschungseinrichtungen und erstellen Angebote zusammen mit den Fachabteilungen.
• Sie gehen proaktiv Angeboten, Aufträgen und Reklamationen nach und finden eine Lösung.
• Sie organisieren mit dem Team Messe-/Tagungsauftritte und nehmen an diesen teil.
• Sie beobachten den Markt und helfen bei der Entwicklung neuer Produkte mit.

• Sie haben ein abgeschlossenes natur- oder ingenieurwissenschaftliches Hochschulstudium.
• Sie besitzen mindestens 2 Jahre Arbeitserfahrung im Umweltsektor.
• Als geselliger und offener Typ gehen Sie gerne auf Menschen zu, haben Spaß am Verkauf und wecken dabei das Interesse für unsere Produkte.
• Microsoft Office, Teams und ERP/CRM-Systeme sind keine Fremdworte für Sie.
• Sie sprechen gut Deutsch und Englisch, gerne auch weitere Sprachen
• Sie besitzen einen Führerschein, Klasse B und sind bereit, auf Geschäftsreisen zu fahren.
