Accessibility Statement

The operators of this website strive to make the website www.ugt-online.de accessible. This accessibility statement applies to the online service available at the address mentioned above.

Since the company is partially funded with public resources, we make every effort to meet the requirements of Section 12a BGG and the Accessible Information Technology Ordinance (BITV) 2.0.

Status of Compliance with the Requirements

This website is partially compliant with the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, conformance level AA.

Measures Already Implemented

The website is based on the ProcessWire Content Management System. The following measures to improve accessibility have already been implemented:

  • Responsive Design – the website can be used without problems on mobile devices.
  • Semantic HTML – the page structure is clearly organized and technically marked up correctly.
  • Keyboard Accessibility – many functions are accessible via keyboard.
  • Overlay Tool – a supportive tool is integrated to adjust font size, contrasts, etc.

The website has been tested with tools such as WAVE and axe DevTools for basic accessibility criteria.

Remaining Barriers

  • Not all images and graphics have alternative text. These are being gradually added.
  • Some interactive elements are still not optimally accessible for screen readers.
  • Sufficient color contrasts – content is presented in easily readable color combinations.
  • PDF files are currently not yet available in an accessible format.

We continuously work on further improving the accessibility of our website.
