Fruit dendrometer DF
The fruit dendrometer is a special dendrometer version for round measuring objects. It measures the change in diameter for total diameters up to 11 cm without causing damage. Measuring frames adapted to other fruit sizes can also be manufactured on request. With the patented fixing method, the measuring object is fixed stably in the measuring frame, but without influencing growth. The low pressure at the measuring point does not hinder the fruit from growing. The DF is only unsuitable for very soft fruit, such as ripe tomatoes. The DF is supplied with a 2 m cable as standard for connection to data acquisition with an external logger. Other cable lengths are available on request.
