The removal tool is an accessory developed by UGT for GroPoint sensors and is designed to facilitate the easy removal of the sensors from the soil. When used properly, it enables quick and non-destructive removal of the sensors. This eliminates the need to dig up the sensors, which also makes it easier to quickly reinstall them.

The removal tool consists of an open stainless-steel housing with a triangular tip. The separately available UGT S-9000 Pulling Device is inserted into the upper tip. This ensures high durability and stability during field use, despite the tensile forces involved. The bottom of the housing features a custom-fit plastic sensor mount with increased friction, which ensures a secure hold for the sensor.

To use the extraction aid, open it to insert the sensor and then secure it with two star-head screws.
