We offer three TTree product variants, which differ in the measurement technology and in the presentation of the measurement results. The Talking Tree is thus suitable for different target groups with different focus.

TTree public

Suitable for everyone

Focus: climate change, health, urban climate, well-being.

Presentation: simple and pictorial, with clear comparisons and thermal images

Measurement technology:

•     1 x sap flow and wood moisture sensor (xylem flow sensor SFM-5) - to detect water transport in xylem tissue via the propagation of short heat pulses (heat pulse velocity method).
•     1 x stem circumference sensor (band dendrometer DR26) - for continuous and high-resolution recording of the tree diameter
•     1 x Soil Tensiometer (Full Range Tensiometer FRT 15D) - for measuring the tension with which water is retained in the soil (up to pF-4.2 permanent wilting point)
•     1 x Soil Temperature and Soil Moisture Sensor (Soil Moisture Sensor SMT-100) - for measuring volumetric soil water content and soil temperature
•     1 x thermal camera
•     1 x UGT data logger DT90L or NBIoT-Box with tree attachment - for storage and further processing of dendrometer, xylem flow, soil tension and soil moisture data
•     1 x database system and data visualization (SVADSS)
•     1 x solar panel or mains power supply

Presentation: simple and pictorial, with clear comparisons and thermal images + further statistics and info on sensor technology
