UGT TerraElute Perkolation System
UGT TerraElute Perkolation System
Our specially developed TerraElute percolation system is a fully automated laboratory device for the elution of inorganic and organic substances from solids—in accordance with DIN 19528 / suitability testing under the Substitute Construction Materials Ordinance (EBV) or the Landfill Ordinance. We further developed our TerraElute in 2026, and it is now also available in various sizes and configurations, enabling it to accommodate different sample volumes and applications. A single master unit controls up to five racks with up to twenty columns each simultaneously (up to 10 racks / 40 columns available upon request). The equipment per rack can be configured for either short-column tests and/or comprehensive column tests.
Features
- Automatic and efficient execution of the percolation process in upward flow according to DIN 19528
- Water sensors for detecting saturation in each column
- Automatic calculation of actual porosity and switching to percolation mode
- Flow control via piston-type pumps, deviation <1% from setpoint
- Automatic flushing mode
- Quick-connect fittings on all hose connections and a barcode scanner for checking columns and vials in and out simplify workflows and enable convenient operation
- Export of data for the test report
- Color touch display: recognition of free positions for sample columns and bottles or finished columns and fractions
Calculated parameters
- Pore fraction
- Volume of sample
- Flow rate for saturation [ml/min]
- Flow rate for percolation [ml/min]
- Eluate volume per fraction
- Change times of fractions (only with the Valve Switching Modul)
