Our IoT boxes are specially designed for field use and are perfectly suited for use with up to nine SDI-12 / Modbus sensors. The special feature of the UGT IoT (Power) Box is that the measurement data is not stored on the IoT data collector, but is sent by radio to the SVADSS or customer server. The end user then retrieves the data from their PC.

Data transmission can be carried out via NB-IoT (mobile network) or via LoRaWAN. A separate LoRaWAN network or gateway is required for LoRaWAN. For both data transmission variants, it is possible to use the box in the IoT Box design (battery-powered, up to 6 sensors) or the IoT Power Box design (battery-powered, up to 9 sensors).

The NB-IoT Box and NB-IoT Power Box are each available with or without an SD card:

• The version with an SD card enables local storage of measurement data directly on site while still allowing data to be sent via NB-IoT.
• In addition, a pure data box or data power box is available that does not support NB-IoT data transmission. With this version, the measurement data is stored locally on an SD card. The data is available in the same encrypted format that is also used for NB-IoT transmissions. You can download the data and upload it manually to the SVADSS portal, where it is automatically decrypted.
