Our innovative Y-design mobile automatic dual gas measuring chambers are designed as both a closed static and closed dynamic system for measuring soil gas emissions. This system connects directly to a gas analyzer and provides a comprehensive analysis of soil emissions, including CO2, N2O, CH4 and H2O..
Functions and application
The system integrates a transparent and an opaque chamber, allowing both Net Ecosystem Exchange (NEE) and soil or dark respiration to be measured at a site. The two hoods are alternately lowered over the circular area to be measured and delimited according to the duration defined by you.
Flexibility and adaptation
The double gas measuring chamber is available in various sizes up to a circular area of 1 m², with the maximum height of the chambers being 1 m. The entire system is mounted on a rollable frame, which makes it easy to move. This makes the system ideal for measuring soil gas emissions above many neighboring lysimeters or plots.
