UGT Rain gully under vegetation
UGT Rain gully under vegetation
Rain gullys are devices that you can use to collect precipitation in tree stands. They are precipitation collectors with an elongated shape that are placed under tree canopies. The collectors collect precipitation that falls on the tree canopy and then drips to the ground. Your rain gully system consists of 2x3-m gutters that cover one square meter and are installed at a height of one meter. You can collect and store the water via a drain. A tipping counter can be interposed to record the quantity.
For what you use the rain gully
Rain gully under vegetation are often used in forestry studies to investigate water availability and distribution in tree stands and to evaluate water quality and quantity, which are important for tree growth and health.
